B1 is found in vegetables, grains, legumes and fruits. B1 vitamin is required for the development of nervous system and rapid metabolism during growing period. In its deficiency, vomiting, loss of appetite, discomfort, difficulty in breathing, heart palpitations, bruising, heart failure, disorders of the central nervous system, voice loss, beriberi disease can be observed.

B2 is found in offal, milk and cheese and some green vegetables. Its deficiency causes vision defect, cracks in the lip edges, skin and mucous diseases.

In B6 deficiency, swelling in the tongue, lipoidosis around the eyes, mouth and nose may be observed. Grains, eggs, meat and lungs contain B6 intensely.

B12 deficiency causes loss of myelin, a white substance covering nerve cells, causing nervous system problems and anemia. This vitamin that is found in meat, fish, seafood and eggs is also found in milk and dairy products in small amounts.

Vitamin C is found abundantly in green leafy vegetables such as citrus fruits, rose hip, broccoli, tomatoes, peppers, cauliflower and spinach and provides collagen production for tissues.

Vitamin A is found mostly in fish, eggs, butter and yellow fruits. Failure to thrive, short stature, loss of luminosity of the eye and excessive drying, secretion of inadequate tear, dry and grazed skin, night blindness that is called chicken black colloquially is seen.

Vitamin D is taken through both nutrition and sunlight. It is found in fish, cheese, milk, butter and egg yolk. Its deficiency causes rachitism on children. It sets the balance of calcium and phosphor in bones. Restlessness, perspiration, itching, sleep disorders, muscle weakness in later stages, softening of the skull, enlarged gynecology, skull expansion, dental problems are seen.

Vitamin E has an antioxidant effect, accelerates wound healing, protects vascular health and in the school age and adolescence period, where metabolic rate increases, it has the ability to cleanse the body of harmful substances. Anemia and edema can occur in its deficiency. It is found in grain products, fish, fish oil, nuts, egg yolks, green leafy vegetables.

Vitamin K is found in green leafy vegetables which are necessary for blood clotting. It is normally done by bacteria in the intestines. It is necessary for the synthesis of coagulation factors. Gingival bleeding can be seen in its deficiency.
