In IPC World Para Athletics European Championship that was held in Germany’s capital city, Berlin, our National Athlete Mustafa KÜÇÜK took attention with his 4th ranking in 200 m. He ran 11.45 in 100 m trial series, which was the second best result in the record history of Turkey and he advanced to final by breaking the T13 100 m record, but as he got injured, he didn’t get close to his usual performance in the final tour which was run in the evening the same day. He ranked the 8th in the final and he completed the European Championship at the 5th rank in total ranking.

After the race, he said: I came here by targeting the record. I worked hard during the season and I believed I was going to make it. I got injured 10 days before the race. Although it scared me a little bit, I quickly recovered thanks to the intensive treatment at Uludağ University, Faculty of Medicine, Sport Medicine and I was able to break the record here. I would like to thank to everybody who contributed to this achievement, particularly to my sponsor, bilyoner.com.
