One of our National Athletes, the successful sprinter of Nilüfer Municipality’s Sports Club for the Visually Handicapped, Mustafa Küçük, who got on the floor on the first day of Turkish Athletics Championship held in Bursa between 17-19 April within the framework of the events of Turkish Sports Federation for the Visually Handicapped, broke the championship record in 100 m and became the new champion of Turkey. On the second day, Küçük raced in 200 m and became the champion by getting the best rating of the season and he managed to draw attention by realizing the 100 200 double after 2 years. When interviewed after this achievement, he expressed his thanks to the whole training team which had contributed to his success, including particularly his sponsor. He stated that he was feeling quite fit despite his advancing age and he mentioned of his intention to break the 100 m record of Turkey in 2018.
